Learning math is like climbing a staircase, each step is necessary in order to reach to the top. For example, algebraic concepts such as quadratic equations, systems of equations and factorizations become a struggle for students. When you take some time to decipher these concepts, you will realize that they are tied in with prime factorizations, properties of operations and fractions which were all taught in elementary school! This is why here at Encourage Learning, we will assess and determine the concepts not well understood by your child and do a step-by-step approach in teaching. Our second strategy in teaching math is practice, practice, practice! We will be alongside with your child to support and guide him until he is able to do his work on his own.
